Sunbeam Childbirth Services

I am a postpartum doula based in Bothell/Mill Creek and serving the North Seattle and Everett areas. I have six beautiful children and a husband whom I adore spending time with. I grew up in the Puget Sound area and am excited to be raising my children here as well!

I became a doula after attending the labor of a dear friend and realizing how beneficial having a knowledgeable support person can be for parents both during the childbirth experience and at home afterward. I was excited to have the opportunity to be trained by Penny Simkin and Carrie Kenner, through DONA, at Bastyr University in 2012.

Since then I have continued my education, completing B.R.A.S. (Breastfeeding Resources and Skills for Doulas) and Rebozo workshops, also with Carrie Kenner, at Big Belly Services.

In 2019 I completed my training as a postpartum doula with ProDoula. Since then I have enjoyed supporting many families as they make the transition into parenthood and adding a new member to their home. Postpartum services look different for each family and may include things like folding laundry, preparing snacks, or simply tending your baby while you take a much needed shower or nap.
